Every year Freedom diving center organizes international depth competitions in Larnaca.
Since 2015 our team has organized seventeen international freediving competitions.
2026 Competition Schedule
Spring Competition 2026
Freedom Depth Games Spring
Competition dates: 26th May to 30th May 2026
The competition is under AIDA regulations.
- 1 Competition Boat equipped with counter-ballast system and High-resolution sonar
- Experienced, trained safety for the competition line
- 1 Fully Equipped Medical Rescue boat with first aid crew and Doctor
- 1 Fast evacuation boat capable of making to the beach in 3 mins
- 1 Fully equipped ambulance on standby on the beach with 10 minutes drive to medical center
Summer Competition 2026
Freedom-Nordic Depth Games
Competition dates: 16th to 21st August 2026
The competition is an international competition under CMAS regulations.
- 1 Competition Boat equipped with counter-ballast system and High-resolution sonar
- Experienced, trained safety for the competition line
- 1 Fully Equipped Medical Rescue boat with first aid crew and Doctor
- 1 Fast evacuation boat capable of making to the beach in 3 mins
- 1 Fully equipped ambulance on standby on the beach with 10 minutes drive to medical center
- Competition site: 2km from shore, in front of Psarolimano port
- 5 minutes by boat from Larnaca beach coastline
- One mooring installed and anchored to the competition boat, drop off boat for athletes and evacuation boat
- Transfer boats permanently available from port to competition location
Main Event 2026
Freedom Depth Games 2026
Freedom depth games is our biggest event of the year.
It takes place every year in October and athletes from all over the world participate.
The competition is under AIDA regulations. No depth limit.
The amazing weather conditions, 27 degrees water temperature, 40+ meters visibility, professional judges and safety team promising the athletes the best conditions for relaxation and safe dives.
Competition dates: 13th to 22nd October 2026
The schedule provided might change according to weather conditions or safety reasons.
- Each athlete is eligible to compete on four competition days, or less.
- Athletes must select days in advance to reserve a spot for each day.
- There are a limited number of spots available each day. If an athlete wishes to change the day, they should check with the organizers for availability or make arrangement with another athlete to change the day.
- Athletes may complete one dive per day and may choose which discipline they wish to dive in each day.
- If athletes wish to participate more than one day, they may do so for an additional fee.
- Competition site: 2km from shore, in front of Psarolimano port
